Acupuncture Risk

Acupuncture is one of the safest therapies you can have. Of course it is the responsibility of all Health Care Practitioners to disclose any health risks from minor to more significant no matter how remote they may be.

A minor risk of a simple bruising can occur. This will resolve naturally.

More significant, although extremely rare, events of infection or pneumothorax could occur.

Please note in my twenty-eight (28) years of clinical acupuncture practice I have not experienced any significant events.

I strictly adhere to safety and hygienic protocols and only use single use disposable needles.
